Governmental Agreement 278-2021 of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security
establishes the minimum wage as follows:

The agreement will become effective as of January 1, 2022.

Reforms to the Single Property Tax (IUSI)

El 28 de agosto de 2026, tras la sanción el día anterior por parte del presidente Bernardo Arévalo, fue publicado en el Diario Oficial el Decreto 18-2026 que modifica la Ley del Impuesto Único Sobre Inmuebles (IUSI). Este había sido aprobado por el Congreso de la República el 29 de julio.
