This has the immediate consequence of reducing public procurement oversight mechanisms.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The effects of the provisional amparo are as follows:<\/p><ul style=\"text-align: justify;\"><li>As of July 1, 2025, commercial companies that had not already complied are no longer required to submit information on their shareholders and\/or individuals who directly or indirectly own or control the decisions of the legal entity.<\/li><li>The General Registry of State Procurement restores the status of \u201cnot updated\u201d to suppliers. This allows them to update their profile without having to submit the names of shareholders.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">President Bernardo Ar\u00e9valo expressed his concerns that the suspension \u201chas multiple negative effects,\u201d weakens traceability in public procurement, and could hinder the detection of shell companies or conflicts of interest. This policy is part of efforts to implement \u201cKnow Your Client\u201d compliance standards within the State.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The amparo will continue to be processed by the
