Mr. Meza has specialized in intellectual property. He has been in charge of trademark registration, patents, utility and design models, copyrights, and licensing.
He has ample experience with administrative legal processes, including oppositions and appeals, and also with judicial processes such as civil claims regarding cancellations and annulations of trademarks, and unfair competition.
Mr. Meza has conducted cases for multinational corporations and national companies, especially from the pharmaceutical, software and food industries.
Mariano Galvez University, Attorney at Law and Notary Public, 2006. Since 1988 Mr. Meza has been participating in specializing IP courses provided by the Intellectual Property Organization (OMPI) in various jurisdictions.
Before joining the Firm in 1991 Mr. Meza was the head of the Trademark Department of the Intellectual Property Register of the Guatemalan Ministry of Economy (1984-1991).
